Hospital employees will walk for the month of October to support local cancer patients

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, St. James Hospital employees are organizing a month-long walk competition called “Stomp Out Breast Cancer” to support local cancer patients.

Each participating employee will pay a $15 registration fee, which will be funneled through St. James Foundation and go directly to support cancer patients.  Employees will track their distance through the month of October, with awards presented at a reception on October 27.

We are looking for sponsors at all levels who can donate cash to offset the event costs (food, supplies, prizes), or gifts in-kind for the awards reception (food and prizes).

Please see the attached sponsor form for details and instructions.  If you have questions or would like to support this event, please call Carmen at 607-247-2250 (Carmen_Wilkins@URMC.Rochester.edu).

We welcome your support of our healthcare heroes who are walking on behalf of cancer patients!
