Our Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic is coming up in just over two weeks on September 24-25
The clinic will provide FREE medical, dental, and vision care for anyone in need, including vision exams, eyeglasses made on site, dental exams, cleanings and fillings, lab work, and more!
As we prepare for the clinic, we want to highlight some of the medical providers who will be volunteering.
Jay Monahan grew up in Wellsville, NY and currently lives in Rochester. He has a PhD in Organizational Leadership and works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Strong Hospital.
Jay gives back to the community through mentoring new nursing students as an adjunct clinical instructor for two colleges. In his spare time, he is a licensed Real Estate agent and enjoys spending time in Wellsville with his three grandchildren.
This is Jay’s second year participating at the Belmont RAM Clinic providing mental health services and counseling. Jay shared, “I enjoy volunteering for RAM because I am honored to give back to the community that helped raise me!”
Clinic doors open at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25. All services are first come, first serve. (Parking lot opens at midnight.) For more information visit www.ramusa.org.
