The HPD issued this alert and call for information today

The Hornell Police Department is in possession of two Bench Warrants for James W.L. Burgess. Mr. Burgess is wanted for failing to appear in Steuben County Court for charges including 2 counts of Burglary in the Second Degree (Class C Felony), 2 counts of Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree (Class E Felony), and Menacing in the Third Degree (Class B Misdemeanor).

Mr. Burgess currently has no permanent address and is avoiding arrest. If anyone has information on his whereabouts please contact the Hornell Police Department at 607-324-2860.
