Congressman Langworthy to Host Virtual Information Session on Military Service Academies

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Next Thursday, October 26, Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) will host a virtual information session for local high school students and their parents to learn more about nominations and applications for the five military service academies.

Congressman Langworthy will be joined by representatives from the five academies: the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. 

Applications to be considered for a nomination from Congressman Langworthy are due November 1, and an extension will be offered to those who participate in this session to November 15 for any newly interested students. Applicant interviews will be conducted in December. 

During the information session, students will have the opportunity to discuss best practices for the nomination process and ask questions about their eligibility. Those interested in attending this event must register here to receive log-in information sent via email on the day of the event.
