Hornell City School District voters will have a say in a massive capital project, a $32 million dollar decision.
Perhaps the most interesting question is will voters agree to the debt element of the proposition?
Of the $32 million dollars, only $4.2 million will be from district savings. The remaining nearly $28 million dollars will be debt financed at a time when interest rates are no longer at rock bottom. If past if prologue, the measure will likly pass with ease. Very few school budget or project or proposition votes are rejected by voters.
