Corning, NY – Today, during his weekly press call, Congressman Joe Sempolinski discussed his time Representing the 23rd District in Congress and his proudest achievements.

“I am incredibly proud of what my team and I were able to accomplish in a short period of time. My office helped nearly 300 constituents with casework,  held 11 town halls, and, as I mentioned before, we passed life-changing legislation with the 21st Century Assistive Technology Act. This act becoming law is my proudest accomplishment during my term. Helping Americans living with disabilities was a cornerstone of my time in office, and this law has a profound effect on the lives of those living with disabilities,” said Sempolinski. “It is truly the honor of my lifetime to be the voice for the people of the 23rd District. I never lost sight of the fact that I was standing up for the values and beliefs of my friends and neighbors each time I cast one of my over 100 votes in Congress. When my time in Congress is done, I will know that I did everything I could to best represent our district. We made a tangible difference, which I will always look back on with pride and a tremendous feeling of accomplishment.”
