City of Hornell receieves $462,000 downtown building grant, public meeting February 8

Map indicates area which property owners are eligible for 60% grant funding

The City of Hornell will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the City Hall Council Chambers at 82 Main Street to introduce a $462,860 Downtown Building Improvement Grant Fund. The City of Hornell received funding from New York State’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) to support the program.

Property owners within the Hornell DRI boundary(full size map below) are eligible to apply for up to $100,000 to fund exterior and interior building renovations. A 40% minimum match is required for building improvement projects.
