The Dormann Library in Bath has a busy month planned for all ages

Have you met Escargot? He’s a friendly little French snail who loves salad, books, and you! Our Super Saturday event on March 18 from 12:30-2:00pm will feature this new friend, games, activities and, of course, snacks for the whole family!

Our “Shelf Indulgence” Book Club is starting! The first book discussion will be about The Measure by Nikki Erlick on March 22 at 6:00pm.  Books or e-books can be borrowed from the library or ordered for you to keep for $14.

A new series of beginning needlework classes are coming in March. Knitting will be taught on March 14 and crochet on March 28.  Choose to attend 1-3:00 or 6-8:00, or both!

Families are invited to a game night for all ages on March 16 and an adults only game night is scheduled for March 20. The fun begins at 5:30pm.  Use our games or bring your favorite to share!

Miss Kathleen’s fun and educational Discovery Kids Storytime takes place every Friday at 10:30am. Join her for music, movement, stories, songs, crafts and a snack!

Friday Night Madness continues! Teens (age 12 and up) are welcome to join us for video games, snacks, board games and tons of other awesome activities every Friday from 3:30 to 6:00pm.  A special after-hours teen lock-in will be held on the 31st from 6-9:00pm.

The Dormann Indoor Walking Group meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 7:30. Participants receive a pedometer on their first visit and tickets to win quarterly prizes for every day they attend.

Some friendly dogs will be waiting for kids to read to them at the library on March 11 and 25, thanks to the Tail Waggin’ Tutors program.

Are you a fan of mysteries? Adults can attend our Detective Perspective event on March 24 from 6-9:00pm where we will solve a murder mystery!

Get your craft on at the Dormann! All ages will be making leprechaun sock gnomes this month. Youth and tweens (ages 5-12) on March 9, teens on March 15, and adults on March 23. An additional adult painting class is scheduled for March 6. All of these programs begin at 6:00pm.  Please call the library to register.

As always, our Grab and Go spice club and craft kits will be available while supplies last.
