There are two (2) Board of Education seats up for election this year:
- One (1) two (2) year term (May 17, 2023-June 30, 2025) remaining term due to the resignation of Member Jessica Hess
- One (1) five (5) year term (July 1, 2022-June 30, 2027) due to
the expiring term of Member Christopher Clark.
Interested parties must be residents of the Hornell City School District and must obtain the signatures of 100 residents of the Hornell City School District who are qualified to vote (to be qualified you must be at least 18 years of age and have been a resident of New York State and the District for a minimum of 30 days and a registered voter – either for General Elections or in a special registration by the District).

The deadline date for submitting petitions to the District Clerk (120 Raider Road, Hornell, NY) for the forthcoming election is 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
