Don’t let the records fool you, the Arkport-Canaseraga and Jasper-Troupsburg baseball teams are poised and ready for the Section V tournament.

Arkport-Canaseraga comes in as the #4 seed, they have already downed the #2 seed Avoca-Prattsburgh and lost on a last pitch bottom-of-the-seventh thriller to #1 seed and defending champion Fillmore in Fillmore. They also took the Eagles of Fillmore to the brink in Arkport.

Coach Nick Smith has a mix of senior leadership and youth.

Senior Logan Hoyt has been solid on the mound and at shortstop along with junior flamethrower Titus Marvin. Then there is freshman pitcher Micah Marvin. The three are outstanding on the hill and can beat anyone on any day.
