Alfred NY Police report felony burglary arrest after Dollar General store heist

An Alfred woman arrested after rollover on South Main Street

From the Village of Alfred Police Department, On 8/13/2023 the Alfred Village Police Department reports the arrest of 64-year-old female of Alfred NY, following a report of a 1 car rollover crash on S Main Street in the Village of Alfred. It was reported that the accused lost control of the motor vehicle and was allegedly driving while intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Moving from lane Unsafely. The accused was later released, to appear in Alfred Village Court on a later date.
On 8/15/2023 The Village of Alfred Police department reports the arrest of 34-year-old Adam S. Priola of Alfred station NY. The arrest came after an investigation into a burglary at the Dollar General store on State Route 244 in Alfred. Priola allegedly broke into the store after hours, stealing several hundreds of dollars in merchandise. Priola was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd degree (D felony), Criminal Mischief 4th degree and Petit Larceny. Priola was processed and released, to appear in Alfred Town Court on a later date.
