A Hornell woman faces felony charges after Bath NY grand larceny

Fugitive from Justice Arrest

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on September 6, 2023, Deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Raymund D. Gardner, age 25, of Alloway Drive, Fort Worth, Texas, following a report of two males fighting in the driving lane of I-390 in the Town of Avoca. It is alleged that Mr. Gardner was one of the combatants and was wanted by the State of Texas due to an active probation violation warrant. Mr. Gardner was charged as a Fugitive from Justice. Mr. Gardner was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail to await extradition.

Grand Larceny, Falsifying Business Records Arrest

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on September 5, 2023, Investigators of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nicole M. Harwood, age 47, of High Street, Hornell, New York, following an investigation. It is alleged that Ms. Harwood received money she was not entitled to in excess of $3,000 and made false entries into an official business record in the Town of Bath. Ms. Harwood was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, and Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, a class E Felony. Ms. Harwood was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
