Central NY resident illegally kept six-point buck as pet caged as a “pet”

NYup.com reports that the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation has cited a Onieda man for capturing and holding a wild whitetail deer in his garage. The discovery was found after a nearby house exploded due to a natural gas leak. The man claimed he was rehablitating the six point buck, environmental conservation officers disagreed. They seized the animal and criminal charges are pending.
