Landmasser was arrested in 1998 for sexual violence

NYS Police arrested a Wellsburg man on two felony charges stemming from an August 24 complaint in the town of Ashford. Scott Landmesser was arrested for promoting child pornography and possessing child pornography, both felony counts. According the NYS Police report, Landmesser was HELD and the Chemung County Jail confirmed that with the above mug shot.
This wasn’t Landmesser’s first arrest, and it won’t be his first time in state prison if convicted.
In 1998, defendant was sentenced as a second felony offender to a prison term of 18 years upon his plea of guilty to the crime of sodomy in the first degree. Read the documentation from that state appeals court case:
