LCAA’S FINEST
LIVONIA – Livonia’s senior night was a magical night for the Lady Bulldogs as they handed previously undefeated and No. 1 NYS Class B Bath-Haverling their first loss of the season Monday with the 2-1 victory in LCAA D-I action.
Livonia, who improved to 6-4-3 on the season, received an outstanding game between the pipes from senior keeper Mary Kwak, who posted eight saves against Section V’s highest-scoring team.
Livonia goals came from junior Hannah Weldy and senior Avery Bernard with one tally apiece.
“This was an important game, a crucial league game,” Livonia coach Jen Bugbee said. “We have been focused on a passing, focused game. Tonight, our team delivered. We have been trying to peak for sectionals and we are headed that way. “
Also for Livonia, senior defenders Kendel Kretchmer and Kia Pribanich, “both had an amazing defending game,” coach Bugbee added.
