LIVONIA – Leading only 1-0 at the half, host Livonia came out and scored three unanswered post-intermission goals as the Bulldogs improved to 13-0-0 on the season following their 4-0 victory over Dansville in LCAA D-I action Tuesday.
Charlie Roberts scored the lone first half goal off an assist from Colin Ullock.
Then, Livonia scored three straight goals, all within a three-minute span, as Connor Feehan, Ullock and Keegan Dennis all split the posts for the final 4-0 victory.Feehan also assisted on Ullock’s goal while James Spezzano had the assist on the final goal.
Dansville keeper Cam Delaney had 13 saves total for the match.
Dansville fell to 3-8-2 on the season.
“Livonia came out blazing in the second half and in a three-minute span managed to score three goals which would end the game eventually,: Dansville coach Steve French said. “Player of the game for us was Jacob Kreiley, and best play of the day goes to Logan Kendall.”
Avon 2, Pavilion/York 1
Dominic Patti scored both goals as host Avon nipped Pavilion/York in LCAA action Tuesday.
Patti scored unassisted at the nine-minute mark of the first half and then added what would be the eventual game-winner at the 15-minute mark of the first half assisted by Austin Lattuca.
Pavilion-York’s lone goal came from Dylan Brookes.
“Freshman goalie Jack DeVito made some very big second half saves to keep us in the lead late,” Avon coach Tony Patti said. “Also, Pavilion/York played a very good game. Both teams worked extremely hard in hot conditions to the final whistle.”
Avon improved to 5-4-2 on the season while P/Y fell to 8-3-1.
