“Dig Pink” a great success for Hornell volleyball

The Lady Raiders hosted Livonia for an evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness

Hornell Volleyball hosted a Dig Pink Night to raise awareness, honor, and money for Breast Cancer Treatment.  1 in 8 women in the US are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 

The treatment facility for donations of choice was: https://steubencsp.com/.  

The teams took donations, sold t-shirts, and other items to help donate money to a local facility.  Many thanks to both JV Coach Ashlen Arias-Baird and Modified Coach Izzy Slocum for their help in organizing this night. “I am honored to work with such an amazing coaching staff in all areas.”

Hornell hosted Livonia Friday night for both JV and Varsity levels.  

JV pulled out a huge win over Livonia losing the first set and winning the last two sets.  

Varsity lost to Livonia 3-0 staying at number two in the D-1 Livingston County League.

Lyla Dyring 14 assists

Kadience Gollnitz 7 aces

Jordyn Dyring 5 kills, 2 blocks

Larissa Berzerra 17 digs, 6 kills

Hornell (9-3)  begins their three in a row game set Tuesday when they travel to Wayland-Cohocton.
