New Tasting Room Manager is a Sommelier with global experience

From Heron Hill Winery,

We are thrilled to introduce our new Tasting Room Manager, Jennifer Campbell! With a wealth of experience in the world of wine, Jennifer brings passion, expertise, and a warm spirit to our team.

During the work week, you can find Jennifer responding to customer inquiries, empowering, and encouraging tasting room employees to showcase their best hospitality service to provide customers with a memorable wine tasting experience. Her dedication to making wine accessible for all shines through, thanks to her extensive education in Enology and Viticulture.

Jennifer achieved her diploma in Enology and Viticulture at Niagara College of Canada in the early 2000’s and upon completion earned a wine internship through International Trade Canada to Australia where she got to work in every aspect of wine from planting and maintaining grapes, servicing farm equipment, lab analysis, production and bottling duties, hospitality, sales and marketing and everything in between. Upon return from the internship Jennifer completed her Sommelier Diploma with CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers). She then made her way with her husband to Virginia and worked in the wine industry for 13 years before moving to the FLX region and gaining even more knowledge and appreciation for time and place.

Jennifer believes that providing a comprehensive approach to wine and making memorable experiences for customers will create greater appreciation and a welcoming environment for customers to learn about what Heron Hill is all about. In addition, she is always excited to hear and learn from guests and their own encounters, experiences and adventures in wine.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and family exploring different aspects of the Finger Lakes region. She enjoys the local cuisine and exploring wineries in the area. Whether cheering on her son at hockey games (she may have a cowbell) or watching her sons thrive in theater and gymnastics, Jennifer is deeply engaged in their varied pursuits. Additionally, she dedicates time to extensive research, delving into topics ranging from Autism and ADHD to health and fitness, and sustainable winery practices!

Join us in welcoming Jennifer to the Heron Hill family! Cheers!
