Heather is the Department Secretary at the Noyes Health Kidney Disease & Dialysis Center in Geneseo.
Here are some of her nominations:
“Heather is the glue that has held dialysis together for the past several years. She is the department secretary who runs the QAPI meeting by pulling all the stats for it together and preparing reports for the medical director to read from as well as taking the minutes all in line with requirements by CMS. She does all of the reporting to CrownWeb, which is also a hefty requirement by CMS. She has crossed trained to help out on the patient care unit when they have been short staffed. She sets new employees up for required Epic and new employee education…and so much more. First and foremost, she knows all of the patients, their families, and those that drive them to the center. She is the friendly face that everyone sees when the enter the unit every day! She cares about our patients and her co-workers and ensures that she helps them out whenever she is able to. She answers all of my questions immediately and if she doesn’t know the answer she investigates until she figures it out for me. I am thankful to have Heather in this position and I don’t know what we would do without her!! She is the Rock Star of Dialysis and the entire unit patients and staff are so lucky we have her working with us!!”
“Heather is the heart and soul of the Geneseo Dialysis community. She goes above and beyond. She does everything from make mix the bicarb, string in the machines, patient care, while managing the secretary desk.”
“Heather does so much at the dialysis unit, between scheduling, payroll, Quapi, Crown Web, taking care of the pts transport needs, and doing things not even in her scope of practice, she is always willing to jump in where needed with no questions asked. she always has a level head and keeps everyone in check. I honestly feel that we would not be able to run this unit without her!!! She is our rock!”
