Long Creek, South Carolina -Glenn L. Webster, 51, of Long Creek, SC, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Olean, NY, Glenn was the son of the late Brenda Gordon and the late William Francis Webster of New York.
Glenn is survived by a daughter Cassidy Webster Greenberg of Orlando, FL; a son, Ashlin Webster of Hendersonville, NC; a sister, Michelle Webster of Belmont, NY; a Brother, Ronald Webster of Arizona, two granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenn took great pride in his story of hobo-ing across the country in search of the home he found for himself in Long Creek, SC. He was loyal to his family, his job at the Long Creek General Store, and to his beloved community.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to The Chattooga Conservancy, 867 Chattooga Ridge Rd, Mountain Rest, SC 29664 or to his son, Ashlin’s scholarship fund.
