This is a part time position as deputy clerk to begin August 2, 2024 and working towards full time Clerk position to begin February, 2025.
Part time hours will start at 20 hours per week. Salary to commensurate with experience and to be discussed during a scheduled interview.
Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to and under the direction of the Village Clerk:
Attend all board meetings, prepare agenda, minutes and resolutions, learn registrar position to file death and birth certificates, records management officer, work with code enforcement performing and completing building permit duties and have knowledge of village codes which will include filing local laws. Billing of sewer rents and collection, conduct village elections, website and newsletter editor, coding and entering invoices.
