FATAL HIT AND RUN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

LOCATION: State Route 364, Town of Benton, Yates County, NY
NARRATIVE: The Yates County Sheriff Office is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred this afternoon on state route 364 in the town of Benton. A one-year old child was struck by a vehicle heading west on SR 364. The vehicle continued on and left the scene. The investigation is on-going at this time. We ask anyone with information regarding his accident to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling 315-536-4438. Information will remain confidential.
