Local artist Glenn Zweygardt brings Pave Alley to life

From the City of Hornell,

Artist Glenn Zweygardt has installed his gateway arch on Main Street in downtown Hornell, marking the first public art installation through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). Constructed from structural stainless steel, the archway features bronze, weathered steel, and powder-coated stainless-steel leaves, providing a tribute to Hornell’s designation as the Maple City. The archway provides a welcoming entrance to Pave Alley, now transformed into a modern public gathering space, with newly installed bistro lights and planters.

A big “thank you” to Glenn for all of his hard work creating and installing the piece, which is sure to brighten the faces of many residents and visitors to our City’s downtown!
