V. Lucille Dickerson, 91, formerly of Belmont, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 25, 1933, in Alma, the daughter of the late George and Flossie (Terrette) Quick. On April 11, 1953, in Alma, she married Carl R. Dickerson, who predeceased her on March 1, 2014.

Lucille and Carl owned and operated The Dickerson Rest Home, in Belmont, for 28 years. Additionally, she was a member, and former Sunday School Teacher, at the First Baptist Church of Belmont.

She is survived by: a son, Warren (Kim) Dickerson of Toccoa, GA; two daughters, Ann (Alan) Cotè, and Anita Johnson, both of Wellsville; 6 grandchildren; 15 Great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, JoAnn Quick; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband of 60 years, she was predeceased by: a granddaughter, Melissa Lynne Johnson; five sisters; a brother; and two sons-in-law, Steven Brown and Marc Johnson.

Following Lucille’s wishes, a private family graveside is being planned for next week. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
