Years of Service Recognition
Today at the Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Allard and Staff recognized and celebrated several of our members on their Years of Service milestones. We congratulate Correction Officer Smith and Dispatcher Clark on their 20 years of outstanding service! We also congratulate Correction Sergeant Sciotti on his 15 years of outstanding service! We are grateful to each of them for their continued dedication and service to the citizens of Steuben County.

This afternoon, Sheriff Allard did swear in two (2) Provisional Full Time Correction Officers. Please join us in congratulating the newest members of our Jail Division. Welcome to the SCSO family officers Gay and Warriner!
In addition, Sheriff Allard did swear in Provisional Full Time Correction Officer Ellsworth as a Permanent Full Time Correction Officer. Congratulations Officer Ellsworth!

School Resource Officer – Swearing In
Please join us in welcoming our newest School Resource Officer, J. McDivitt who was sworn in by Sheriff Allard this afternoon. SRO McDivitt is assigned to Frederick Carder Elementary in the C-PP School District. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office has 20 officers assigned to schools across our county.

New Member Swearing In – Patrol Division
This afternoon, Sheriff Allard did swear in the newest member of our Patrol Division, Deputy B. Kennedy. Deputy Kennedy will be attending the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in January. We look forward to his graduation and field training.
