Raiders take a loss from the Brighton Bruins

The Hornell Red Raiders fall to 3-3 on the season with a 73-57 loss to the Brighton Bruins in Friday afternoon basketball action. 

Nine Bruins players scored in the winning effort, led by Dan Regan (14), Abram Levy (13), and Yele Enya (12).  Levy went 6-6 from the free throw line.

Hornell’s PJ Picco led all scorers with 17 points and had 9 rebounds for the Red Raiders. Wyatt Evingham added 16 points followed by Aaron McInerney with 13 points. Evingham and McInerney each had three 3s.

The Bruins improve to 2-3 and are the #5 seed in Class AA1 while the Red Raiders sit as the #4 seed in Class B1.

The Red Raiders have a week off before hosting Rochester Prep next Friday night.
