Red Raiders fall in semis, Picco hits 1000 points

The #4 seed Hornell Red Raiders fell to the #1 seed World of Inquiry in the Class B1 Semifinals Tuesday night at Finger Lakes Community College.

Jaedon Adams of WOI led all scorers with 23 points followed by teammate Curtis Bell with 13 points.

Hornell was led by PJ Picco who scored 13 points on the night. He reached the 1,000 career point milestone in the final minutes of his last high school game. He also had 5 assists and 7 rebounds.

Hornell’s Wyatt Evingham and Aaron McInerney added 7 points apiece.

The Red Raiders finished their season 14-9.
