Out with the old and in with the new
From Janie Ferguson,
Tyler is shown here with a new RR crossing sign that he and Wes, from the SC Highway Department, were putting up today at the CR 119/110 RR crossing. Wes said, “We don’t work for the railroad, we are just replacing the old signs, and putting them up higher.”
Union Pacific Railroad continues to tell us, “Safety First, and please be back at least 25 feet from the tracks. This is for your safety.”
It is scheduled to be here tomorrow June 11th. It leaves Hornell at 2:30 pm, and heads our way down the Canisteo Valley along the Canisteo River. It will be exciting to have it pass through this way! Janie Ferguson Photo
