Forecasts have updated Air Quality Index to clear just in time for outdoor fun!!

Thursday at the Square is ON at Union Square Park!
First, we’d like to apologize for the back-and-forth updates. We know changes can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. Our first priority is, and always will be, the safety of our visitors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, and staff.
We’ve been monitoring the air quality closely throughout the morning, and the latest forecast shows the smoke moving out of the warning area by around 11:00 AM. Air Quality Index (AQI) levels continue to improve, so we will remain at Union Square Park for tonight’s Thursday at the Square!

JR’s Back Alley BBQ will be on-site serving up delicious food throughout the evening
Be sure to visit our Kids’ Tent! HPG and the Friends of the Hornell Public Library will be teaming up under the big tent to offer a fun-filled area just for kids and families. Enjoy Family Game Night with a variety of board games, along with hands-on activities hosted by HPG to keep the little ones entertained throughout the evening. It’s the perfect place to play, create, and make memories together!
