CORNING – Area motorcyclists are invited to take to the open road next week to support affordable housing initiatives across the region.
Steuben County Habitat for Humanity will host its inaugural “Hammer Down for Habitat” charity motorcycle ride on Sunday, September 13. The 55-mile scenic ride begins at the Corning Museum of Glass Visitor’s Center parking lot, where registration opens at 10:00 a.m. Kickstands go up at 12:00 p.m. as riders embark on a route through the hills of the Finger Lakes.
The ride concludes at Junior’s Log Cabin in Campbell, where both participants and the public are invited to a post-ride celebration featuring live music, a chicken barbecue, merchandise sales, and raffles. All event proceeds directly fund Steuben County Habitat for Humanity’s mission to construct homes and strengthen communities for local families.
