Flanagan-Watson in 2007.  Alexis graduated from Alfred-Almond School in 2020, and also completed the cosmetology program at Wildwood BOCES.

Alexis was a self proclaimed “Wild Child” and she even had that tattooed on her wrist.  She was the champion of the underdog and did not like to see people upset.  Alexis’ artistic talents were phenomenal, whether with a paintbrush or her vocal cords. Her paintings are hung throughout our house and her singing was a joy to hear. She was willing to voice her opinion and maintain her position, even when data suggested she was wrong.  Alexis also had an amazing connection with children, she loved them with all her heart.  Her dream was to be an elementary teacher.

Alexis is predeceased by several people she loved, two of which were her grandmothers, Joan Watson and Betty Flanagan.  Grandma Betty was her kindred spirit, due having similar beginnings.  Her Uncles Don Watson and Spencer Conklin also predeceased her.

Alexis is survived by her parents, Dean and Carrie, who loved her very much, her siblings: Morgan (Chad) VanBuskirk, Janette (Andrew) McDade, Darnell Watson, Grant Watson and Samia Barge.  A nephew, Kingston, whom she loved very much.  Aunts and Uncles include: Laura Conklin, Kathy (Russ) Hooker, Sharon (Martin) Woodard, Diane Burdick, Dale (Tiersa) Watson, Norah Flanagan, Mary McCormick, Paul Flanagan and Don Flanagan, and many, many cousins.  Alexis also had many friends who loved her.

Drug addiction interferes with the hopes, dreams and potential of the personand causes immense sadness in family and friends.  Please consider a donation in Alexis’ name to one of the following charites: CASA Trinity (Addiction services and detox) 86 River St. Hornell NY 14843 or to AA-CSA (Alfred-Almond Community Sports Association Inc) P.O.
