Please note the following for Memorial Day (May 26, 2025):
- City Hall will be closing at 12:00 on Friday, May 23, 2025
- City Hall, City Court, and the Hornell Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. All reopen on Tuesday.
- Garbage collection in the City of Hornell will be delayed by one day.
- The street-sweeper began on May 4, 2025 and the schedule will not change. All motor vehicles must be off the streets, as usual, overnight before the day of regular garbage collection.
- Hornell Area Transit buses will not run-on May 26, 2025
City Hall returns to summer hours beginning Tuesday, May 27, 2025. City Hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. through Labor Day.
