A solemn ceremony and community parade honor those who have fallen in war

I was blessed to be able to attend and shoot today’s Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony. I and our community are so very grateful to the men and women who gave their lives for our country, freedom, way of life and to lay their lives down not just for us but for those in other countries as well. I am forever grateful to our men and women in uniform from the Armed Forces to our Police, Fire, EMTs and all first responders. Thank you all from the bottom of my, our community, and the nation’s heart for all that you do.

Speakers included several from our local veterans and other groups, fire chief, police chief, mayor, Hornell senior high school seniors. Songs performed by the HHS choir. The Hornell marching band was present for the first time in memory recently as well. Please be sure to tag folks so they can get their images.
