The tradition continues for the Davis, Osborn, Stearns, Porter, Kilbury, Hendee, Gates, Bennett, Dexter, Brewer, and Hargrave famlies

Members of the extended Davis and Osborn families will come together over the July 18 and 19, 2026 weekend, at family property in Fremont, NY, to celebrate the 125th family reunion. The families have gathered every year since 1897 with the exception of three years during WWII and in 2019 due to the COVID pandemic. The two-day family event begins with a campfire Saturday night followed by a picnic on Sunday.
The Davis Osborn annual reunion began with the marriage of a Davis brother and sister to an Osborn sister and brother. In addition to the original Davis and Osborn names, surnames of extended family members include Stearns, Porter, Kilbury, Hendee, Gates, Bennett, Dexter, Brewer, and Hargrave, among others.
After serving 21 years as the reunion committee president, Ed Davis, HHS Class of 65’, stepped down and was succeeded by his daughter, Jennifer Davis Horn, of New jersey.
