Eight members of the Hornell Steamers will play in the 2026 NYCBL All-Star game on Monday, July 6. All-Star game festivities start at 2 p.m. with the 7-inning game starting at 4:30 p.m.
Hornell will be represented by a trio of pitchers, Evan LaMothe (Johnson & Wales), Peter Pipikos (North Park), and Micah Marvin (SUNY Niagara). Five position players, Markus Brehm (St. Bonaventure), John Greenwood (North Park), Luke Manders (Kalamazoo), Will Parker (Pomona Pitzer) and Nolan Winthrop (Pomona Pitzer), will also represent the Steamers.
- LaMothe is 2-0 with a 4.22 ERA in a team high 22.1 innings pitched. He has walked just two and struck out 23.
- Pipikos has a 3-2 record with a 3.21 ERA in 14 innings out of the Steamers bullpen. He has struck out 20 and has held opponents to a .122 batting average.
- Marvin is 2-0 with a 4.00 in 18 innings of work. He has made five appearances and three starts on the summer. He has walked 10 and struck out 19.
- Brehm leads the team with a .469 batting average in twelve games (23 for 49). He has collected four doubles, three triples, three homers, and driven in 13. He has also stolen 12 bases. Brehm will also be the team’s representative in the HR derby.
- Greenwood is hitting .421 (24 for 57) in 18 games this summer. He has three doubles, driven in 17 and scored eight times.
- Manders is hitting .349 (15 for 43) in 12 games. He has one double and driven in 12 runs.
- Parker has a .329 batting average (23 for 70) in 19 games. He has five doubles, 12 RBI, and scored 15 runs.
- Winthrop leads the team with 18 RBI in 17 games. He is hitting .321 (18 for 56) with seven doubles, one triple, and nine stolen bases

The East All-Stars will take batting practice at 2:30, followed by the West All-Stars at 3 p.m., the Home Run Derby is at 3:30 featuring a representative from each team. Infield/Outfield will take place starting at 4 p.m. before team introductions. First pitch from Onondaga CC is slated for 4:30 p.m.
