NY State Police: Two young children with Angelica NY connection found and in good health

Nicole A. Koschuk was apprehended by US Marshalls for an active Wyoming County warrant

On August 11, 2026, Nicole A. Koschuk, 42 years old and her children, Amara and Lincoln were located living in shed in Trenton, Georgia by the U.S. Marshals.  Koschuk was arrested on an active arrest warrant for Custodial Interference 1st issued by Wyoming County Court, NY.  Koschuk was turned over to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office where she is awaiting extradition back to New York. The children were found to be in good health and have been turned over to the Dade County (Georgia) Department of Family and Children’s Services, until they can be returned to their legal custodian.  The investigation into who assisted Koschuk in this crime remains open. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Amity are working with Multiple Law Enforcement agencies and Social Services. Koschuk will be extradited to New York and arrested for the warranted charges at a later time.
