September 27th at the Miller Theater, free and open to the public

From Alfred University,

Hillel at Alfred is sponsoring an upcoming concert featuring the work of legendary musician Bob Dylan. “Bob Dylan’s American Mythology,” set for Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Theater on the Alfred University campus, is free and open to the public.

With poetry and commentary that offers deep and brave insight into the complexity of the human soul, Bob Dylan inspired generations around the world to closely examine longstanding power structures, mainstream moral and religious attitudes, universal values and the delicate components of human dignity. The concert at Alfred—which tracks Dylan’s career through a narrative focusing on his social, spiritual and theological searches—features imaginative rearrangements of his music.

The show will be performed by an array of world-class international artists:  Gabrielle Stravelli (vocals), Dan Nadel (guitars, music direction), Hagar Ben-Ari (bass), and Yuval Lion (drums).
