Drivers who use County Rt. 70 should make alternative plans for travel during the week of August 15th. Steuben County Public Works department will be replace a culvert and there will not be a detour :
“County Route 70, in the Town of Avoca, will be closed to all traffic between Wessels Road and
County Route 6, from 7 am to 4 pm from Aug. 15- Aug. 23.
The road will be closed to replace a culvert pipe.
There will be no onsite detour.”
