Bolivar-Richburg baseball grabbed the No. 1 seed in Class C3, and needs to win their bracket and then (depending on the point system) may have to play the C2 and C1 champions to advance as Section V champions into the state tournament.

In Class B, Hornell’s hot end to the season earned the Red Raiders the No. 2 seed in the B2 tournament and in B1, Bath is No, 1, Wellsville is No. 5 and Dansville is No. 9. The winners of those two brackets would face off for states.

In Class D, with the mergers and schools combining, there is one bracket. There will be a true Section V champion in D’s and they will move on without a crossover game.

Note: Class D bracket was changed at noon on Monday.

Genesee Valley/Belfast is the hot team in Class D, winning 9-of-13 to end the season and jump to the No. 6 seed with a 10-10 record.

Scio-Friendship also finished strong, moving up to the No. 7 seed at 8-11.

From Day 1, the No. 1 team and team to beat has been Fillmore, as Bill Nolan’s squad finished 13-3 to earn the top spot.

Avoca-Prattsburgh finished 14-6 for the No. 2 seed.
