The Canisteo-Greenwood wrestling team has won tournament after tournament this season with a few second place finishes sprinkled in.
The team concept continued over the weekend at the state dual championships. C-G, a team that does not give up forfeits because of lack of wrestlers, is undefeated this season against other schools.
Going against the best of the best in the state, Canisteo-Greenwood went undefeated against other schools in the opening rounds before falling in the state semifinals.
After all of the duals were over, the final four teams standing were Canisteo-Greenwood, Gouverneur, Tioga and Central Valley.
Canisteo-Greenwood reached the championship semifinals with wins over Saranac and John Glenn.
The team will finish out the regular season and go after another Section V title and individual championships as well.
