Bridge closures in Campbell and Canisteo planned to start August 21

BATH  — Two bridges in Steuben County will be closed for construction work beginning Aug. 21: * The County Route 4 Bridge, in the Town of Campbell, will be closed to all traffic from 7 am to 4 pm  Aug. 21 through Aug. 22 weather permitting. The bridge crosses the Cohocton River located between State Route 415 and Curtis Cooper’ s Road and will be blacktopped. There will be no onsite detour. * The Catatunk Road Bridge in the Town of Canisteo will be closed to all through traffic on or about Aug. 21 for approximately 10 weeks. The bridge crosses Mud Hollow Creek, between Store and Roosa roads and will be removed and replaced with a new concrete box culvert . There will be an on-site detour.
