Painted Post’s Ashley Wolfe leads way for Alfred State Western Equestrian

An Alfred State western equestrian rider competes in the most recent event. Alfred State finished as the reserve hi-point team.

Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) led the way for the Alfred State western equestrian team finished as the reserve hi-point team in both the AM and PM shows at Alfred University.

Wolfe earned reserve hi-point rider honors in both shows. She was 1st in open horsemanship and 2nd in reining in the morning and then 2nd in both categories during the afternoon show.

Molly Arnold (Dryden, NY) was 1st in Rookie A in the afternoon after finished 5th in the morning show while Morgan Alemy (Milton, VT) was 2nd in Level 1 horsemanship in the AM and 3rd in the PM. Makenna Dimpfl (Rochester, NY) was 3rd in Rookie A in the PM and 4th in the AM, Krystal McKinney (East Thetford, VT) was 4th in Beginner in the AM and 6th in PM, and Alyssa Burdick (Valley Falls, NY) was 3rd in beginner in the morning show.

The event was held at Alfred University’s Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at Maris Cuneo Equine Park.
