This Weekend in Wellsville: Starlight Theatre Company to present “A Christmas Story”

Performances Friday and Saturday night at 7pm

Meet the cast!! Someone in the audience will win the famous “leg lamp”

WELLSVILLE, NY: On the 40th anniversary of the beloved holiday film of the same name, Starlight Theatre Company will perform “A Christmas Story.” Audiences of all ages will delight in experiencing their favorite character and scenes acted out live on stage by local performers!

Performances will be held at the Grace United Mission Center (former Christian Temple) on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM. The address is 99 Maple Avenue, Wellsville, NY 14895. Admission is $10.00 at the door or $8.00 presale. Desserts are included!

A Christmas Story” tells the tale of young Ralphie Parker’s dream of getting an official Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas, and the shenanigans that ensue on his way to achieving his dream. Join Ralphie, his colorful friends, and loving family as they navigate this special Christmas with a lot of humor, heart, and holiday spirit!

Audience members will also have the chance to win the iconic leg lamp to take home after the show! This play is a hilarious crowd-pleaser suitable for all ages! Come be entertained this Christmas season! Doors will open at 6:30 PM both nights.
