Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes Berates Officials

The Good
James Cook had a big day against the Chiefs on Sunday both on the ground and through the air. Cook had 15 touches for 141 scrimmage yards and 1 touchdown for an average of 9.4 yards/touch. He had 10 carries for 58 yards and 5 receptions for 83 yards and 1 touchdown. The Georgia product has had a breakout season with 1180 scrimmage yards with four games yet to play. Head coach Sean McDermott and offensive coordinator Joe Brady both acquitted themselves well in the contest. McDermott had an aggressive defensive game plan holding the Chiefs offense mostly in check on route to his 69th regular season win, second most in Bills history. Offensively, Brady kept it simple, primarily utilizing running backs and tight ends in the passing game and frequently calling run plays for James Cook and Josh Allen.
The Bad
Josh Allen continued his streak of turnovers with yet another interception. He was rolling to his right and made an ill advised throw across his body back to the middle of the field which was easily undercut by the defensive back. Allen remains among the league leaders in interceptions with 14 and total turnovers with 17. Stefon Diggs had his worst game of the season statistically with just 4 receptions for a meager 24 yards. Diggs had no receptions over 10 yards and dropped at least three passes.
The Ugly
The Chiefs wide receivers were atrocious in this game as they have been for most of the season. They had numerous dropped passes, a number of penalties, ran the wrong routes, and lost a fumble. The most costly penalty was an offside/lining up in the neutral zone call on wide receiver Kadarius Toney which negated a go ahead touchdown. Adding insult to injury, quarterback Patrick Mahomes made a fool out of himself when he needed to be restrained on the sideline during an end of the game tirade directed towards the officials.
