Arkport voters elect Natalie Churchman to board of education in special election

Churchman will replace Jenny Swarts who resigned in late 2023

From Arkport Central School,

In a special election to fill a vacant seat on the Arkport Central School District board of education, voters elected Natalie Churchman with 95 votes. Mrs. Churchman will serve a three-year term, beginning on June 30, 2027.

Vote totals for all candidates are:

Natalie Chuchman: 95 votes David Mikolajczyk: 61 votes Tim Bailey: 52 votes

Mary Marcus: 1 vote (write-in vote)

The vacancy on the board was created by the resignation of Jenny Swarts, tendered to the board, effective Nov. 6, 2023.
