Hornell Public Library is seeking applicants to fill PT Library Aid positions. Successful candidates will be motivated, positive, friendly, and exceptional team players. Excellent Customer Service, attention to detail, and computer skills (MS Office Suite, Google Docs, experience working with Databases) required. A general understanding or use of Libraries is preferred. High school diploma or Equivalent required. Starting wage is $16.00/hr. Hornell Public Library is seeking applicants to fill a Full Time Library Program Assistant position ($18-$20/hour commensurate with experience).  Must have a background in early childhood development and children’s programs and/or programming. Must have strong leadership skills and experience using Canva, social media, and promoting programming. A general understanding of public libraries is preferred. This job will provide opportunities for personal and professional growth. Successful candidates will be motivated, positive, friendly, and a versatile team player and team leader.  A two-year degree is required, a four-year degree is preferred.
