Public Health: Black Balloon Day remembers those lost to overdose

Steuben County Prevention Coalition hosts virtual “balloon release”

Opioids remain a large concern in Steuben County. Reported in February were 24 overdoses, 1 fatality, and 6 Narcan administrations.

Today is Black Balloon Day which is a day of remembrance of loved ones who lost their lives to overdoses. Follow Steuben Prevention Coalition to see the stories shared and the virtual balloons released in their honor. You can submit a name or story at https://tinyurl.com/yvyuvdzd
