Mayor Buckley: Congratulations and thank you, Aaron, Taylor, and Bob!

From the City of Hornell,

The Employee Spotlight proudly shines on Department of Public Works employees: Aaron Clark, Taylor Horton, and Bob Lockwood. Clark, Horton, and Lockwood perform the care and maintenance of our beautiful City parks.

Aaron Clark can often be found riding the zero-turn mower, manicuring the extensive grass at Veterans Memorial Park. Aaron is also responsible for operating and maintaining the City pool and splash pad. Aaron’s efforts maintaining the expansive park and equipment keep the park in tip-top shape daily for residents to enjoy.

We also appreciate Taylor Horton’s hard work throughout the spring and summer seasons. Taylor is responsible for taking care of the flowers and shrubs seen at the beautiful Union Square Park, and also throughout downtown Hornell.

Bob Lockwood manages Shawmut Park. Bob maintains the park and pond, keeping the grass well-manicured, and the pond clear of debris so residents can enjoy fishing from the pier and viewing the beautiful fountains. With plenty of acreage to mow and maintain, Bob ensures Shawmut Park remains a scenic and welcoming space for all.

Mayor John Buckley states, “Our community is fortunate to have three absolutely gorgeous City parks. We are grateful to Aaron, Taylor, and Bob for their dedication to making sure these gems truly shine. Their hard work allows residents and visitors alike to enjoy these spaces year-round. Congratulations and thank you, Aaron, Taylor, and Bob!”
