The Hornell Red Raiders hosted the Dansville Mustangs Saturday night at Maple City Park

After a tough loss to LCAA rival and #1 seed Livonia Bulldogs on Thursday, the Raiders got back on track with a win over the Mustangs 3-0. Hornell sits at #2, while the Mustangs are the #3 seed.





The Raiders got on the board early when PJ Picco found Wyatt Evingham for the first goal just 4 minutes into the game. Hornell would score twice more in the second half, Wyatt Evingham scored his second goal of the night off an assist from Nick Gray, and Marco Picco rounded out the scoring assisted by Aquiles Souza.






Hornell’s defense, anchored by Demayne Dixon, aided in the shutout by goalkeeper Alfie Whiteley. Whiteley had 3 saves on the night.
The Red Raiders improve to 7-1-1 and take on Rochester Prep Monday night.
