Road closures set for early May in Steuben County

Routes 65, 66, and 52 will be closed for railroad crossing work

BATH – Two railroad crossings on Steuben County roads in the Town of Hornellsville will be closed to all traffic May 1 for approximately three days, according to county Public Works Commissioner Eric Rose.

The crossings are located at:

  • County Route 65, N. Main St Ext. and County Route 66, Webbs Crossing
  • County Route 66

The roads will be closed to replace the existing railroad crossing with a new railroad crossing. There will be a posted detour route, maintained by Norfolk Southern Railroad.

BATH – Steuben County Route 52, Burns Road, in the Town of Dansville, will be closed to all through traffic on or about May 8 for approximately three days, according to county Public Works Commissioner Eric Rose..
